Obviously you have stumbled upon this article in hopes to find a specific birthday flower.  Well you have to reason to look any further!  Flowers are a perfect way to say "I'm thinking of you", or "I really care about you, and I want you to feel special."  There is not a better idea for a woman's birthday than to give her flowers.  What is even more creative is that you took the time to try to figure out what her specific birthday flower is!  Brownie points to you!  Below I will pin point which flowers belong to certain months of the year.


January Birthday Flower

The January birthday flower is that of the Carnation (shown below) which means love, fascination, and distinction.  Colors of carnations are available in pink, red, white, yellow, and green.  Ultimately, there is a specific message hidden in the color of each flower (which is a great example of what to write on the card for the flowers).  Red symbolizes that your heart aches for her, pink symbolizes that you'll never forget her, the color yellow means that she has disappointed you.

February Birthday Flower

For the month of February, the specific flower for that special lady is the Violet (as shown in the picture to the left.)  The meaning of of Violet is faithfulness, humility, and chastity.  The February birth stone is also an Amethyst.  Colors of violets are available in blue, yellow, and cream.  There is also a secret message in the color of the Violet (which makes a perfect note for the card of the flowers).  When it is a colored violet, it means that you will always be true, however if the violet is colored with white or cream - it means "lets take a chance".

March Birthday Flower

Yet another birthday month flower is that of the March birthday flower which is the Daffodil (as shown below.)  The meaning of the daffodil flower is friendship and domestic happiness.  The birthstone of March is the Aquamarine.  Daffodils are available in white, orange, and also yellow.  A great idea for the note of the bouquet of flowers is the hidden message of the daffodil, which is "you are an angel".  Surprise her this year with a beautiful vase of daffodils and completely shock her by knowing her birth month flower!

April Birthday Flower

The birthday flower for the month of April is called the Daisy.  I'm sure you know what a daisy looks like, so I will not provide a picture.  The daisy symbolizes innocence, purity, and gentleness.  The birthstone for April is also the Diamond (I am an April baby, and I believe we got all of the good stuff!).  Daisies are available in a wide variety of colors including red, blue, yellow, pink, orange, white, and purple.

The birthday flower for the month of May is the Lily of the Valley.  The Lily of the Valley symbolizes sweetness and humility.  Also, the birthstone for May is the Emerald.  This flower is only available in white.  The meaning of the flower is "You Make My Life Complete" (what an excellent idea for a romantic note card for that special some one!

June Birthday Month Flower

For the month of June, the birthday flower would be that of the Rose. The rose symbolizes passionate love and beauty. The rose is typically common for Valentines day, or just to show that special lady that you love her. The birthstone for June is the Pearl. Roses are available in many many colors including red, white, orange, yellow, white and red, and pink. There are hidden messages in the colors of the flowers (which are great for a romantic note card!) The color red symbolizes I love you, while the color white means you are heavenly. The color orange means you are my secret love, the color pink means please believe me, the color yellow means I am not worthy of your love, and the colors red and white means we are inseparable.


July Birthday Flower

The birthday flower for the month of July is the Larkspur which means an open heart. The birthstone for July is the Ruby. The colors of the Larspur include pink, white, and purple. A pink Larkspur means fickleness, while the white Larkspur means joyful, the color purple means you have such a sweet disposition. Something so simple like a meanful note would sure enough make her day!


August Birthday Flower

The month of September marks the end of Summer, get prepared for beautiful fall!  The birth flower for September is the Aster.  The Aster symbolizes love, faith, wisdom, and valor.  The meaning for this flower is also "Be sure to take care of yourself for me."  The birth stone for the month of September is the sapphire.  The available colors of the Aster are pink, red, white, lilac, and purple. 


October Birth Month Flower

For the month of October, the certain flower is called the Marigold which symbolizes sorrow or sympathy.  The birth stone for October is the Opal.  The hidden meaning of the Marigold is also "My thoughts are with you".  The available colors of the Marigold are yellow and orange.  In my opinion, a good example of a birthday card would not to be including the meaning of the Marigold - as it does not mean happiness.  However, you could mix it up with other flowers that mean other certain things.

November Birth Month Flower

The month of November include the birth flower of the Chrysanthemum, which symbolizes "with love and cheerfulness".  This beautiful flower also means "You are a wonderful friend".  The birthstone for November is the Topaz.  The available colors of the chrysanthemum are plentyful, including pink, red, white, yellow, purple, and orange.  Leave her a romantic note that says, "Happy Birthday, with love and cheerfulness (at least that's what the meaning of the chrysanthemum is)"  She will absolutely adore it!


December Birthday Flower Meaning

The month of December has a beautiful flower called the Narcissus.  The Narcissus stands for respect, modesty, and faithfulness.  The birthstone for December is also the turquoise.  The meaning of the Narcissus is also "You are the only one."  Available colors of the Narcissus are yellow, orange, and white.  Leave a special note for her that says, "Happy Birthday, you are the only one, which is what these flowers mean."
